Nose, Knows

Nose (n.) is a part of the body, the central protruding element of the face, which is capable of smelling. Knows (v.) means containing understanding within about the deepest meaning of a person, place or thing; to be intimately acquainted with. In Biblical terms, to know a person meant also to have experienced sexual relations with said person, as this was seen as the deepest form of possessing intimate understanding.

She stuck her nose inside the flower to smell its fragrance.

He knows that flower well; she knows him Biblically.
